EELD : Ethics - Ecology - Luxury & Design

Founded in 2010 by Chloé Bourrioux, the brand invites people to enter in an era of a new kind of luxury: sustainable luxury, which combines contemporary fashion, and ethical and ecological concerns.Designer since 10 years, after being graduated of Esmod and of La Chambre syndical de la haute couture in Paris she is a pioneer in luxury, EELD celebrate craftsman work of the « haute façon Française » by using old techniques on rare materials and eco-friendly.



 Her purpose by creating her brand simple but ambitious: combine high-end fashion and ecology. To achieve highlight the really great know how of the biological silk factories that are develops in her collections with pure lines and timeless shapes.

Why does she choose this kind of silk? Because the fibber comes from silk cocoons collected by hand on mulberry trees already present in the naturel states. So there is no intensive farming or deforestation. Weaving and finishing of the fabric are made without chemicals products and with as little water as possible. Moreover, these silks are woven in France.



 Calais laces (very famous and qualitative one) is weaving on Leavers looms who have more than 100 years old for some of them, then finish by hand, it’s also make part of the brand identity and priority. As for the fabrics on witch there is prints, Chloe Bourrioux works on collaboration with the most prestigious French weaver who ensure that the waters are restated to preserve the environment. When selecting fabrics, old and rare expertises are privileged.

It’s so unusually that we have to notice it: this young brand had made the choice of the total made in France. The production of all the goods is exclusively made in «  Haute facon » workshop in Poitou-Charentes France. "These workshops are rare, says Chloe Bourrioux, and it is vital for us to work with such a level of demand and safe guard the expertise of our craftsmen.” Even the prints are made in France with a printer engaged in sustainability. The use of water is minimized then re-processed natural and ecologically. Protection of the environment, which does not exclude quality. A quality and valuable know-how that have found their place in rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré since Aloha shop chose to sell these collections that prove that we can combine creation, fashion, luxury and ecology.
