Valentine Gauthier was born in Marseille, France and is a young Parisian fashion designer. After studying geo-ethnology, she made her classes at Atelier Chardon Savard in Paris. At the same time, she worked in the craftsman section at Martin Margiela. She then presented the International Festival of Young Artists from Dinard she won in 2006.

En 2007, Valentine Gauthier founded her eponymous label and opened in the same year her first shop in the Marais.

She creates a contemporary and urban brand with a unique look and always reinvent her fashion codes, her creation is full of inspirations. Very good partners in France, India and Spain surround her, without compromising the quality of manufacturing as the chosen materials. Her partners are responding to her very exigent criteria.

The counties where she produces have particular attention to the nature and respect for the environment. Her fashion is ethical because it uses a lot of natural or ecological materials such as wool, organic cotton, leather or silk and attaches great importance to the producing countries.

Valentine Gauthier is a rising star of fashion that will work in harmony with herself. With her ecological awareness the designer have signed a collection with Chattawak or their 10th anniversary it’s a collection of dresses, the profit was given to an association for childhood.

Raised in the countryside of France, she was engaged in the cleaning of beaches with the Surf rider Foundation. "I am part of a generation concerned about the environment," says simply the designer of 31 years, the protection of nature and man rights is obvious to her and her love for fashion too.  Create responsibly, without giving up its stylistic choices is a great deal to her.

Valentine Gauthier organizes the production according to her criteria’s. For her knit line, she South America for the natural raw materials. Pima cotton, whose culture requires no pesticide, is knitted locally. As the alpaca in Bolivia, is guaranteed dyeing, hand assembled, hair-by-hair.

Valuing craftsman all over the globe demand a lot of energy. "It would cost us less to not have that awareness," but there is no way to her to disarm.
